\bf \begin{cases} 4x-1\ \textless \ -13\\ 3-2x\ \textless \ 7 \end{cases}\\\\ -------------------------------\\\\ 4x-1\ \textless \ -13\implies 4x\ \textless \ -12\implies x\ \textless \ \cfrac{-12}{4}\implies \boxed{x\ \textless \ -3}\\\\ -------------------------------\\\\ 3-2x\ \textless \ 7\implies 3\ \textless \ 7+2x\implies -4\ \textless \ 2x\implies \cfrac{-4}{2}\ \textless \ x \\\\\\ \boxed{-2\ \textless \ x}\\\\ -------------------------------\\\\ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -2 \ \textless \ x \ \textless \ -3

3-2x<7

Subtract 3 from both sides.

-2x<4

Divide -2 from both sides. (switch the sign because you are dividing a negative number)
x>-2
