It is given that the side adjacent to the hypotenuse is 5 units.

It is also given that the ratio of adjacet to hypotenise is 0.57 and adjacent side is 5 units.

Hence it follows:


\begin{gathered} (AC)/(AB)=0.57 \\ AB=(AC)/(0.57)=(5)/(0.57)=8.77 \end{gathered}

Option B is correct.
