factor the 2 denominators:-
q / (q + 3)(q + 2) + 1 (q + 1)(q + 2)
the LCD is (q + 1)(q + 2)(q + 3)
so we have
q(q + 1) + 1(q + 3)
-------------------------
(q + 1)(q + 2)(q + 3)
q^2 + 2q + 3
= ------------------------- Answer
(q + 1)(q + 2)(q + 3)
