Solve each equation. 6x2 + 1 = 13

6x^2 + 1 = 13
subtract 1 from both sides
6x^2 = 12 take the square root of both sides
6x = sqr rt 12 divide by 6
x = plus or minus sqr rt 12 divided by 2

Hello!

Do you mean only this one(?), or are there more? If only this, it'll be like this. (it could be 1 of 2 ways the way I see it.)

6x² + 1 = 13 or 6 * x * 2 + 1 = 13

If the first one, it'll be x = √2 or ≈1.41
If the second one, it'll be x = 1
