Flappers - Before the 20s, women were expected to be behave and dress modestly. It was completely unacceptable for women to smoke in public places. However, in the 1920s, women, known as flappers started to influence other women worldwide to drive cars, smoke in public and wear clothes without corsets. Hollywood movies were made on these women, further influencing women worldwide.
