What is wrong with the notation 1s22s22p63s23p63d104s24p2 for germanium (atomic number 32)?

The notation is not written in the correct order as the 4s subshell should appear before the 3d subshell.
The correct order in an electron configuration would be:
1s , 2s , 2p , 3s , 3p , 4s , 3d , 4p , 5s , 4d , 5p , 6s , 4f , 5d , 6p ,..
So, for germanium the electronic configuration should be;
1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s² 3p⁶ 4s² 3d¹⁰ 4p²
