pick any TWO of the points. find the difference in the y values and divide it by the difference in the x values.
for instance say (1,4) and (5,2) are 2 points on the line. slope I'd (4-2 / 1-5) or 2/-4 or -1/2

Use the formula y2-y1/x2-x1 and sub in the points
