Given:

The function is,

(8-x^4)/(9)

It can be written as,

(8)/(9)-(x^4)/(9)

Polynomial is a combination of terms seperated using + and - sign which does not contain,

1) Variable in demominator

2) Variables under radical

3) special features like trigonometric function, absolute values etc.

So, it shows that the given function is polynomial with degree 4.

Answer: option D)
