please help!! :-) thanks! : Finn's fish store has 5 tanks of goldfish; each tank holds 40 fish. He collects andinspects 5 fish from each tank and finds that 4 fish have fin rot. Find the estimated number ofgoldfish in the store that have fin rot. SHOW ALL WORK!

Given:

Number of tanks of goldfish = 5

Number of fishes in a tank = 40

Step 1: Find the total number of fishes

Hence, the total number of fishes will be = 5 x 40 = 200 fishes

Step 2: Find the percentage of fin rot

Given:

Number of fishes inspected = 5

Number of fin rot =4

Therefore, the percentage of fin rot will be


\begin{gathered} (4)/(5)\text{ x 100 \%} \\ \\ \frac{400\text{ \%}}{5} \\ \\ (80)/(1)\text{ \%} \\ \\ 80\text{ \%} \end{gathered}

So, the percentage of fish with fin rot is 80%

Step 3: Estimate the number of goldfishes with fin rot

since 80% of the fishes is estimated to have fin rot

Then

Total estimate of fin rot =


(80)/(100)\text{ x 200}

=> 160 fishes

Hence, the estimated number of goldfish in the store that has fin rot = 160
