(3.5*6*3)\text{ + (}(1)/(2)*3.5*4)

Here, we want to find the total number of miles Hailey walked last month

We have two parts here

Initially, 6 hours per week for 3 weeks

The number of miles walked here at 3.5 miles per hour is;

(3.5*6*3)

Secondly, we have the second as 4 hours in a week at a rate that is one-half the regular

One-half the regular is;

\begin{gathered} (1)/(2)*3.5 \\ \\ \text{That gives;} \\ ((1)/(2)*3.5*4) \end{gathered}

So, we have the total as;

(3.5*6*3)\text{ + (}(1)/(2)*3.5*4)
