Add all of the birds together.
59 + 68 + 12 + 1 = 140
Solve what percentage 59 is of 140.
x * 140 = 59
Divide both sides by 140.
x = .421428571
Multiply 300 by that percent.
300 * .421428571 = 126.428571 which rounds up to 126.
Papa can expect 126 blue jays.
