We have to solve the equation:

-6-2s=-6

Adding 6 to both sides of the equation we have:

\begin{gathered} -6-2s+6=-6+6 \\ -2s=0 \end{gathered}

Multiplying both sides by (-1/2),

\begin{gathered} (-(1)/(2))(-2s)=(-(1)/(2))(0) \\ (2)/(2)s=0 \\ s=0 \end{gathered}

Therefore s=0.
