93000 * .035 = 3255
Fred's tax is $3255.

93000 x 3.5%
93000 x 0.035 = 3255
Fred's property tax is 3255
Multiply the property assess with the tax rate to get his tax
(make sure to change the percentage to decimal by moving the decimal place two places to the left)
