To solve this question, since we are not given values to plug into the equation. We would assume same values for both equations.

Given equations:

y = -x

x-y = 6 (By making y the subject of formula)

y = x - 6

The vaues we would plug in: x = -1, 0, 1, 2

For first equation: y = -x

when x = -1, y = 1

when x = 0, y = 0

when x = 1, y = -1

when x = 2, y = -2

For second equation: y = x-6

when x = -1, y = -1-6 = -7

when x = 0, y = 0-6 = -6

when x = 1, y = 1-6 = -5

when x = 2, y = 2-6 = -4

Now we plot the values on a graph:

you can make the 1unit or 2unit. I used two units in my graph for y axis and 1 unit for x axis.

The second picture is clearer.
