This Is A Trick Question, It Says Items Not How Many Times. He Will Touch 60 ITEMS 120 Times.

Each item is touched twice, once to wash and one to dry.
Total number of items is 20 plates + 30 silverware + 10 cups = 60
60 items x 2 touches = 120.
