Testosterone is a hormone released by the testes to form the sperm. It stimulates the Sertoli cells to conduct spermatogenesis (formation of sperm). The spermatogonia (a cell that divides to produce immature sperm to mature sperm) will produce spermatocytes (immature sperm cells) to spermatids (immature sperm cells) to a mature sperm cells.
