5x+3x-3=8x+16-10
8x-3=8x+16-10
8x-3=8x+6
-8x -8x
-3=6
This is not a true solution

5x + 3(x - 1) = 8(x + 2 ) - 10
5x + 3x - 3 = 8x + 16 - 10
8x - 3 = 8x + 6
0 - 3 = 6
3 =/= 9
NO SOLUTION.
