a. The formula for the area of rectangle is:

A = l w

so given that A = 3/5 m^2 and w = 2/5 m,

l = A / w

l = (3/5 m^2) / (2/5 m)

l = 3/2 m or 1.5 m

b. We take the ratio l/w:

l/w = (3/2 m) / (2/5 m)

l/w = 3.75

So the length is 3.75 times greater than width
