The options of the question ares A) oil B) gold C) water D) fertile soil.

The correct answer is C) Water.

The use of water is often as high or higher in poor, arid countries as it is in rich nations.

In many poor, arid countries, water is a natural resource vital for the survival of the people. As being a poor country, there is such a few infrastructura to built pipelines that can take water to cities, towns or villages. Often times, people need to walk miles to go to the source of fresh water in order to have some. If people live near a river or a lake, that is a blessing and they use that water.
