Solution

Let us graph the function

From the above: the x-intercept is the points where the graph crosses the x-axis, at point where y = 0. While the y-intercept is the point where the graph crosses the y-axis, at point x = 0


x-intercepts:(-4,0),(-2,0)
y-intercept:(0,-6)

Hence:

x-intercepts: (-4, 0) and (-2, 0)

y-intercept: (0, -6)
