What happens to the rise and the run as you turn your line

rise/run represents the slope of a line.

As you turn your line, depending on the direction where you are turning your line, if the rise gets higher, then the run gets lower and the slope increases.

If the rise gets lower, then the run gets higher and the slope decreases.
