After a bill is passed in the house and the senate, it goes to what kind of committee if there is different language that needs to be worked out?

If both the House and Senate pass a bill with differing language, the bill then goes into what is called a conference committee. During the hearing, compromises and changes are discussed until approved by both the Senate and House's conference committee members.
