You have to get the variable by itself. So you’d have to multiply 5 one each side (because what you do on one side of the equation you have to do it to the other). So it would cancel out the 5 which would leave v by itself. Then multiplying 9 by 5 which is 45. The answer is v = 45.

v = 45

All you do is multiply both sides of the equation by the 5


v = 9 x (5)

Then simplify the right side.

Multiply 9 by 5 to get your answer, 9 x 5 = 45

So v = 45
