During the Salem Witch trials, Everyone believed that if someone had influences from the Devil or going against Christian rule then they were deemed a witch. It affects pretty much all of the people of Salem because no one knew who was a witch and who wasn't; It was all about pointing fingers and everyone would believe the accusing person. The young girls who went into a deep sleep and would not wake up was when it started an uproar and really got people accusing here and there. The accused had a trial and if everyone ruled that the accused was a witch, then they would be sentenced to burn to death by the people of Salem. Though if you wanted to learn more I suggest you watch a move called The Crucible. It will help
