Barry wanted to save at least $700. He opened a savings account with an initial deposit of $150. After his initial deposit, Barry then deposits the same amount of money each month for a year. If he makes no withdrawals, which inequality can be used to determine x, the number of dollars Barry deposited to his account each month?

at least 700

he has already 150

he depositis the same amount for one year to attain his goal of 700

so we assume he attains his goal

150+depositintheyear is at least his goal

150+deposit≥700

deposit=deposit total in the year=

amount per month times number of months=x times 12=12x

the inequality would be 150+12x≥700
