explain why a car with a large mass might use more fuel than a car with a smaller mass. Assume both cars drive the same distance.

Hey there,
A greater force is required to accelerate a more massive car, therefore, more engine power and fuel are needed.

It takes more energy (gas) to move the bigger mass than it does the smaller mass.
