A set of desert glasses are in a shape of a cone if each class is 9 cm across and 12 cm tall, what is the volume of each class? Round to the nearest 10th. Use 3.14 for pi. In the last box, type the exponent for the label. The radius of the cone is 4.5 the height of a cone is 12 but what is the volume of the cone?

Answer:

Given that,

A set of desert glasses are in a shape of a cone,

Each glass is 9 cm across and 12 cm tall.

To find the volume of the each glass.

we get that,

Diameter of te cone= 9 cm

Radius of the cone (r)= 4.5 cm

Height of the cone (h)= 12 cm

we have that,

(1)/(3)\pi r^2h

Substitute the values we get,

=(1)/(3)*3.14*(4.5)^2*12
=254.34cm^3

We get,

Volume of the Glass is,

=254.34cm^3
