Power is divided equally among three branches of government. what do you think is the reason for this.

I think the reason is because sure the president controls all three branches but different processes and decisions are made at each branch and that's why I think power is divides among three different branches

Power is divided between three places so that not all of the power belongs to one place. If all off the power belonged to one place, anything they decide should happen, would happen. Even if it was a bad decision.

If the power is divided, more people get a say in the laws that are being made or the things that are being done. This way, it will hopefully cut down on the number of bad decisions. It is divided so that not one group has total control of something.
