p = √ [(px)^2 + (py)^2]
we know that px is 100 kg m/sec
and we know that py is 98 m/sec

So, to find out the momentum, you just need to insert the number into the equation

p = √(v1^2 + v2^2)
p = √(98^2 + 100^2)
p = 140.01
p = 1.4 x 10^2 k m/s
