Slope of line 1 is -3.

Line 2 passes through the points ( x 1 , y 1 ) = (0,-3) and ( x2 , y2 ) = (6,-1).

m = ( y 2 - y 1 ) / ( x2 - x 1 )

m = ( -1 - - 3) / ( -1 )

m = 2 / -6 = - 1/ 3

The lines are perpendicualar since m 1 x m2 = - 1 x - 1/ 3 = 1
