I want to know how to find delta T and if the coefficient of linear expansion is calculated by dividing delta L and the initial length of object (Lo) and delta T?

\Delta L=\propto L_(\circ)\Delta T

Therefore,

\begin{gathered} \Delta T=100^(\circ)-23^(\circ)=77^(\circ) \\ \Delta L=0.001m \\ L_(\circ)=0.601m \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \propto=(0.001)/(0.601*77) \\ \propto=(0.001)/(46.277) \\ \propto=0.000021609^(\circ)C^(-1) \end{gathered}
