(x,y) \rightarrow (x-7,y-7) ..... (1)

The rule of translation is defined as


(x,y) \rightarrow (x+a,y+b) ......(2)

Where, a is horizontal translation and b is vertical translation.

If a>0, then graph shifts a units right and if a<0, then graph shifts a units left.

If b>0, then graph shifts b units up and if b<0, then graph shifts b units down.

From equation (1) and (2) we get


a=-7,b=-7

Since a=-7<0 and b=-7<0, therefore graph translated 7 units to the left and 7 units down.

Therefore the correct option is A.
