Photosynthesis is the process where plants use sunlight, H2O, and CO2 to build O2 and energy in the form of sugar. Simple carbohydrates are made up sugars such as fructose and glucose.

Cellular respiration is the process that occurs in the mitochondria of organisms either plants or animals to break down sugar with oxygen to discharge ATP which release CO2 and H2O as waste products.

Answers:

1. Oxygen

2. Carbohydrates

3. Carbon dioxide

4. Water
