We have the next information:

Total of people surveyed = 300

Students who prefer action movies = 90 + 30 = 120

Students who go to the movies twice a month or less = 90 + 132 = 222

a)

Percentage of students who prefer action movies = (Students who prefer action movies/Total of people surveyed) * 100

Replacing on the formula:

Percentage of students who prefer action movies = (120/300)*100

Then:

Percentage of students who prefer action movies = 40%

b)Percentage of students who go to the movies twice a month or less =

(Students who go to the movies twice a month or less/Total of people surveyed)*100

Replacing on the formula:

Percentage of students who go to the movies twice a month or less =

(222/300)*100

Percentage of students who go to the movies twice a month or less = 74%
