20) The equation of a line in the slope intercept form is expressed as

y = mx + b

Where

m represents slope

c represents y intercept. This is the point where the line cuts across the y axis.

The formula for determining slope is expressed as

m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

From the graph,

When x1 = 1, y1 = 2

when x2 = 3, y2 = - 2

Slope, m = (- 2 - 2)/(3 - 1) = - 4/2

Slope = - 2

2) y intercept = 4

3) We would find the equation of the line by substituting m = - 2 and b = 4 into the slope intercept equation. Thus, equation of the line is

y = - 2x + 4
