we have the next line

2y=8-3x

in order to know the slope we need to clear y

\begin{gathered} y=-(3)/(2)x+(8)/(2) \\ y=-(3)/(2)x+4 \end{gathered}

we know the slope-intercept form is

y=mx+y

where m is the slope so we can assume m=-3/2
