1) Gathering the data

α +β = 180º Two angles are supplementary if the sum is 180º

α =2β+132

2) Plugging the 2nd equation into the first one:

α +β = 180º

2β+132 +β = 180º Combine like terms

3β +132 = 180 Subtract 132 from both sides

3β = 180 -132

3β = 48 Divide both sides by 3

β= 16

Finding alpha angle:

α =2β+132 Plug into that the value for β

α =2(16) +132

α=32 +132

α =164º

3) Hence, the angles are α =164º and β= 16º
