1. What is the solution set of the equation below?

|2x - 3|= 11

O A. {4}

O B.{7}

C. {-7,4}

D. {-4,7)

step 1

Find the solution of positive case

+(2x-3)=11

2x=11+3

2x=14

x=7

step 2

Find the solution of negatice case

-(2x-3)=11

Multiply by -1 both sides

2x-3=-11

2x=-11+3

2x=-8

x=-4

the solutions are x=7 and x=-4

therefore

tey answer is option B
