Given:

x^3+9x+14x-24;x+6

Find-: Factor

Sol:

(x^3+9x+14x-24)/(x+6)

Eq become.

=(x+6)(x^2+3x-4)

Factor is:

x^2+3x-4
\begin{gathered} =x^2+3x-4 \\ \\ =x^2+4x-x-4 \\ \\ =x(x+4)-1(x+4) \\ \\ =(x+4)(x-1) \end{gathered}

Use synthetic division and the given factor to completely factor then polynomial function-example-1
