Given: The number of cups of juice is given by,

\begin{gathered} 1st\text{ orange =}(13)/(15) \\ 2nd\text{ orange =}(1)/(5) \\ 3rd\text{ orange =}(9)/(20) \\ 4th\text{ orange=}(5)/(11) \\ 5th\text{ orange=}(7)/(15) \end{gathered}

Patel needs 3 cups of orange juice,

\begin{gathered} (13)/(15)+(1)/(5)+(9)/(20)+(5)/(11)+(7)/(15) \\ =(20)/(15)+(1)/(5)+(9)/(20)+(5)/(11) \\ =(4)/(3)+(1)/(5)+(9)/(20)+(5)/(11) \\ =(880+132+297+300)/(660) \\ =(1609)/(660) \\ =2.44\approx2.5 \end{gathered}

Patel makes 2.44 cups of orange juice but he needs 3 cups of orange juice.

3-2.44=0.56

It shows that Patel needs a 0.56 cup of juice that means at least 0.6 cups.

he will need at least 1/2 or 1 cup of juice.
