The box is given to contain 5 reams of paper and each rem of paper contains 500 sheets.

The number of sheets of paper can be calculated by finding the product of the number of reams of paper and the number of sheets per ream:

\Rightarrow5*500=2500

There are 2500 sheets of paper in the box.

If the height of the box is given, the thickness of one sheet of paper can be calculated by dividing the height by 2500 (assuming the wrapping paper for each ream is not considered).

Say the height is x meters tall, the thickness of one sheet will be:

(x)/(2500)\text{ meters}

For two sheets of paper, the thickness will be:

\begin{gathered} \Rightarrow2((x)/(2500))\text{ meters} \\ \Rightarrow(x)/(1250)\text{ meters} \end{gathered}
