Question 1 is unsolvable there are simply too many variables, there could be infinite answers for solving for n.
Question 2: You can plug -36 - 8 (-3) and you would get -12 BUT your equation doesn't ask for greater than or equal to so x can equal anything that is greater than -3.
If you plug anything anything that is over -3 into x then it will 100% always be greater than -12
________________________________
You can subtract -36 from -12 which would be 24 { -12 - (-36)}
From then your equation would be 24>-8x , like i said in the previous statement; any number that is greater than -3 will be correct so lets use -2
24 > -8 * -2= 24 > 16
