The slope of the line that passes through points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is computed as follows:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Replacing with points (6,9) and (7,2):

m=(2-9)/(7-6)=-7

The point-slope form of a line is:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

Replacing with m = -7 and point (6,9):

y - 9 = -7(x - 6)
