In chapter 12 of Frankenstein, the creature shares his observations of the cottagers—the old man and the young man and woman—from the safe haven of his hovel. How do the actions and behaviors of the cottagers help develop the desires of the creature?

The desires of the creature change because he want to have a mate and he wants to feel the love the young man and woman portray

In this chapter, the creature begins to examine the old man and the young man and woman. He sees, for the first time, what family life is like. The creature also discovers that he has the same needs for company and friendship that humans have. Therefore, he starts to feel the need to have the same relationships that these people have, particularly when it comes to companionship and love.
