Determine whether each sample method is unbiased or biased. If the method is unbiased, use it to make a prediction. If the method is biased, explain why. ========================================== ===================================The pizza restaurant asked its customers to visit a Web site to indicate their favorite pizza topping. 40% of the visitors said pepperoni, 30% said sausage, 25% said cheese and 5% said mushroom. What can the pizza restaurant conclude?

By definition, a biased sampling method is used when the sample is highly likely not representative of the population, and an unbiased sample is likely to lead to a representative sample, then it is an unbiased sampling method.

In the given case, the pizza restaurant asked its customers to int asked to its cusomers to indicate their favorite pizza topping.

As the sample comes from its customers, we can say that the sample is likely to lead to a representative sample, then the pizza restaurant used an unbiased sampling method.

A prediction could be:

If in one day there are 100 customers in the pizza restaurant, then they will expect:

100*40%=40 customers will eat pepperoni as a topping,

100*30%=30 customers will eat sausage as a topping

100*25%=25 customers will eat cheese as a topping

100*5%=5 customers will eat mushrooms as a topping an unbiased sampling method.
