Explain how you can tell without calculating whether the sum of a postitive number and a negative number will be positive, negative or zero.

if the number is perhaps -24 + 25= it would be a positive and because the lowest number is negative and if perhaps the number are -25 + 24 it would be negative because the highest number is negative
