Let's take 2 points from the graph:

\begin{gathered} (x_1,y_1)=(6,0) \\ (x_2,y_2)=(0,-3) \end{gathered}

We can find the equation of a line using the formula:

y-y_1=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)(x-x_1)

We will substitute the points and arrange the equation in y = mx + b form. Shown below:

\begin{gathered} y-y_1=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)(x-x_1) \\ y-0=(-3-0)/(0-6)(x-6) \\ y=(-3)/(-6)(x-6) \\ y=(1)/(2)(x-6) \\ y=(1)/(2)x-(1)/(2)(6) \\ y=(1)/(2)x-3 \end{gathered}

The equation of the line is:

y=(1)/(2)x-3
