Collect like terms.
-3 will go over the equality sign to become +3
So that will be;
8p=13+3
8p=16
Divide both sides by 8
P=16/8
P=2
Hope I helped. Good luck

The answer is p=2. Because when you solve 8p-3=13, you add 3 to both sides so you would end up with: 8p=16. Then you would divide by 8 and get 2.
