The lines would go up and over at the same rate. They would have the same slope, like parallel lines.

Hope this helps!! :)

Answer:

A proportional relationship is "two quantities vary directly with each other."

Example:

The amount of gasoline you fill in your car and the amount you pay is a proportional relationship.

If 1 gallon of gasoline is $3, then the cost of 3 gallons of gasoline is $9.

Explanation:

A relationship is between two quantities.

A proportional relationship is "two quantities vary directly with each other."

Say, if the quantity "x" increases, then the associated quantity "y" also increases.

For example,

y = 2x

Let's find the data.

x y

0 0

1 2

2 4

3 6

As you can see when the value of "x" increases, the value of "y" also increases.

This is called proportional relationship.

Example:

The amount of gasoline you fill in your car and the amount you pay is a proportional relationship.

If 1 gallon of gasoline is $3, then the cost of 3 gallons of gasoline is $9.
