We are given the equation

y=2x

we can calculate the value of this expression at x = -5, as it is asked in the first row, by replacing the value of "x" in the given equation, like this;

\begin{gathered} x=-5 \\ y=2(-5)=-10 \end{gathered}

Therefore the value of "y" in the third column is y = -10

In the 4th column, we are asked the ordered pair. Let's remember that the ordered pair is the values of "x" and "y" respectively, like this

(x,y)

So, the first ordered pair would be:

(-5,-10)

To graph that ordered pair, we put the value of "x" in the horizontal line, and the value of "y" in the vertical line and the intersection of the two values is the location of that ordered pair, like this:

For x = -4, we first replace in the equation

\begin{gathered} x=-4 \\ y=2(-4)=-8 \end{gathered}

The value of "y" is -8, that's for the third row. For the fourth row, we find the ordered pair using the values we found for "x" and "y", like this

(-4,-8)

we put them in the graph, like this:
